A Little World of
Big Wonders
About us

We bring back the magic of childhood, the way it’s meant to be—messy, fun, and full of wonders. Children these days grow up in high-rises, glued to screens, with chapals on their feet all the time, missing out on the joy of barefoot walks and the simple delights of childhood. That’s where we step in. Our gadget-free play area gives children the space to create, explore, and find answers to their endless questions. Moreover, the specially curated sensory play space enables children to learn, unlearn, read, create, and eventually evolve into problem solvers who think for themselves.
We’ve come to realise that young parents of our times fantasise about a safe space not too far from the city where their children can run, play, and explore freely while they get a chance to unwind from their busy schedules. Whether it’s catching up on a book, enjoying a quiet coffee, or simply taking a moment for themselves, parents can finally take a breather—because they deserve it too!
A Mom’s Dream
Chandini Krishnan was on a path many would call successful—working at an international firm. But something felt missing. She left the corporate world to pursue her passion for teaching and later worked as a special educator. Being a mother of two children, she believes children are curious, inventive, and innate problem solvers when given the opportunity. The key is to let them discover themselves and the world around them without losing the inner child while growing up. She also knew parents needed a place where their children could be engaged safely without screens while they could simply enjoy a quiet moment. And so, Kutty Curiosity was born - a heartfelt gift from one parent to another.

The Curious Case of Our Logo
A question, a doodle, and a heart full of love—that is the essence of Kutty Curiosity when viewed through the looking glass of a little girl. It simply captures the essence of our space. Just like the saying, “The Child is father of the man”, children inspire everything we do at Kutty Curiosity, and our logo is no exception.
Chandini had been dreaming of opening a play space for children ever since she worked as a special educator. What fascinated her the most about children was their innate curiosity, especially their constant quest for "why." As the plans for the play space took shape, the whole family agreed to call it "Kutty Curiosity", for it is meant to be a place for curious little beings.

One day, Chandini told her five-year-old daughter Vaani to sketch what sprang to her mind when thinking about Kutty Curiosity. Vaani, being innately inquisitive, asked, "Mama, how do I draw something that asks the question 'why'?" Chandini suggested that she draw a question mark, but Vaani got creative. She drew a large question mark and a heart next to it. In the heart, she placed two stick figures. When her mother asked about the drawing, the little girl simply said, “Because children love asking questions.” And that was it—the perfect name, logo and tagline for a space where curiosity leads the way.

The Team
We’re a small but passionate bunch, and the one thing we all share is a love for children. That’s the only rule we had for hiring! Our team is here to make sure children are safe and free to explore. We don’t impose — we just create an environment where children can discover things on their own. In a world where everything is structured and spoon-fed, Kutty Curiosity is a place where children get to be children, making their little adventures and chaos in a space designed just for them to have fun.
